TigerServers understands that uptime and reliability are a big concern for any type of hosting customer and that is why we have selected to house our servers inside of the SingleHop facility, ideally located in Chicago, IL. The Network Our network is routed by top of the line Juniper edge routers and aggregated through Cisco and Juniper switches. Being located in downtown Chicago, we have access to most major bandwidth providers, which have been selected based on routes to compliment our other providers. Our network gear is completely redundant all the way down to the uplinks that link up our cabinets, and to the providers we have selected, along with the entry-points in to the SingleHop facility. 100MB Speed Test file: Click to Download The Server Hardware Our commitment to excellence starts with the hardware that we provide our customers. Aligning ourselves with SingleHop allows us to get superior hardware, which means a reliable solution at an affordable cost to our customers. Our servers are based on Supermicro barebones, and are powered by the most power-efficient processors at any given time. Many of the parts that we use are from: Supermicro, Intel, Kingston, Seagate and more. Commitment to the Environment SingleHop is also a great facility for our customers because they are focused on being GREEN. Did you know that data center's use nearly 1/5th of the worlds electricity? SingleHop uses servers that require 30% less power than traditional servers. They are also part of the Green Grid Association.
